Tourism is an important source of income for the state as one of the main attractions of Montana is Glacier National Park. One of the five entrances of Yellowstone National Park is in Montana. Another attraction is the
site of the Battle of the Little Bighorn located near Billings, Montana.
Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park is in the north west corner of Montana. The park stretches into the bordering Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. Glacier National Park has two mountain ranges, they are sometimes referred to as the Canadian Rockies. The park has more than 130 lakes, and 1,000 species of plants and hundreds of different species of animals.
