Monique Winkis
Monique Winkis is a former FBI Special Agent. She had been the lead FBI investigator on numerous high-profile child pornography prosecutions, including the case against Timothy Richards. She was fired in August 2008 for undisclosed reasons related to the sex offender cases. Federal prosecutors disclosed Winkis' termination to Richards' Tennessee defense lawyer, although the details have been sealed by a federal judge.1
