Mommy's Bliss Recall

On May 22, 2008, MOM Enterprises Inc. issued a recall on its Mommy's Bliss Nipple Cream.

The cream had been marketed to nurses, new mothers, and Pregnant women.

Studies found that the cream contains chlorphenesin and phenoxyethano, which can cause respiratory distress, vomiting and diarrhea in infants.

The FDA said it was particularly concerned about nursing mothers who use the cream and also the possible effects of the two ingredients combining.

Customers have been advised to discontinue use of the product immediately.
