MobileMe is a web-based service that synchronizes personal data such as email, contacts, calendars, media files and other data to a number of official servers. These servers will then synchronize that data with all the devices registered with a specific account. Although MobileMe is designed by Apple, it is compatible with PCs and non-Apple Category:Software

MobileMe was launched concurrently with the iPhone 3G, which suffered some difficulty when it was first released. Similarly, MobileMe service was delayed by three days due to consistent network instability.²

Because MobileMe is web-based, it can be used in Microsoft Windows as well as Mac OS X. It is also designed to integrate with the Microsoft Outlook¹ as well as Mac productivity software.
