Mitt Romney Convention Speech 2008
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney spoke on the third day of the 2008 Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-Saint Paul. At one point his speech was in danger of being bumped because of scheduling conflicts caused by Hurricane Gustav.
Romney was considered the frontrunner to be the running mate for John McCain in the 2008 Presidential Election until McCain made the announcement on August 29, 2008, that Sarah Palin would be his vice presidential candidate .
