Minghui Yu Columbia

Minghui Yu was a graduate student at Columbia University that died fighting off two muggers. After fleeing from the muggers Yu ran into the street and was fatally struck by an oncoming car. His fight with the two muggers was caught on surveillance video. Yu was allegedly headed back to his dorm after eating dinner with his girlfriend, Chao Sun at around 8:50pm.

Minghui Yu studied at the University of Science and Technoloy in China before deciding to go to college at Columbia University. Yu was currently in his second year of study in Statistics. Fast Facts:
