Midhat Mursi al-Sayid Umar

On August 3, 2008, Al Qaeda confirmed the death of one of their top chemical and biological weapons experts, Midhat Mursi al-Sayid Umar, who is also known as Abu Khabab Al-Marsi.¹ While Al-Qaeda's statement did not go into details, Pakistani authorities say he was killed in an airstrike carried out by the CIA in late July.²
