Michael Trucco is an American actor from California. His career began in the theater in Los Angeles, leading to television roles in the 1990s in shows such as Touched by an Angel and Beverly Hills 90210.¹ ¹ In 2003 he landed the role of Samuel Anders on Battlestar Gallactica.²

Car Accident

On December 2, 2007 he had an accident as a passenger in a Ferrari 360 on the Pacific Coast Highway in California that left him with four fractured vertebrae. He had surgery to fuse his C-6 and C-7 to his C-5 vertebrae, and was discharged from the hospital on December 10, 2007. Doctors compared his injuries to those that paralyzed Christopher Reeve.⁴
