Michael Oliver
Michael Oliver is a police officer accused of shooting
Sean Bell of outside a nightclub where he had been having his bachelor party the night before his wedding to Nicole Paultre. It is alleged that he fired 31 shots at Bell.
Acquitted
The Sean Bell Trial ended on April 25, 2008. Oliver was acquitted on all charges. He faced felony first-degree and second-degree manslaughter charges and assault and reckless endangerment charges. The two other officers, Marc Cooper and Gescard F. Isnora were also acquitted.
