Michael Lee King
Michael Lee King was arrested in January of 2008 for allegedly abducting and murdering North Port,
Florida woman,
Denise Amber Lee.
Abduction
King reportedly was spotted in the driveway of Lee's home in his 1994 Chevrolet Camaro, hours before she was reported missing on January 17, 2008.
Calls to 911
Four hours later, Lee called 911 from the trunk of King's car, stating her name, address and that she had been abducted. Minutes later, Sabrina Muxlow, a relative of King, called 911 after King reportedly appeared at Muxlow's home, asking to borrow a shovel and gas can. Muxlow's fater allegedly heard a woman's voice screaming "Call the cops", which King told him to ignore.
Arrest and Body Discovery
Authorities spotted King's Camaro three hours later and arrested King, finding the gas can and shovel in the vehicle. Officers also found Lee's ring and blond hairs in the trunk of the Camaro. Lee's body was found two days later in a shallow grave.
