Michael Gilfarb
Michael Gilfarb is the Assistant U.S. Attorney in the case against Guillermo Zarabozo and Kirby Archer, the two men suspected of killing Jake Branam and three other crew members of Branam's Boat, "The Joe Cool."

The Crime
In September of 2007, Guillermo Zarabozo and Kirby Archer chartered "The Joe Cool" to travel to the Bahamas. Once they were at sea, they allegedly demanded that the crew take them to Cuba and then killed the crew after they refused to change course.2 Archer and Zarabozo left the boat and were later found on a life raft in the Florida Straits.
