Michael Bennett
Professional football running back Michael Bennett plays with the San Diego Chargers in the National Football League. Bennett was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 13, 2008, and was picked up the Chargers. He spent the beginning of his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings.

NFL Career
Bennett was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 2001 NFL debut, ranked 27th overall. He signed a five-year contract with Minnesota and started in the first 30 NFL games he played for them. Bennett was selected for his first Pro Bowl appearance in 2002. He holds two of the top three longest touchdowns in the Vikings' history. This includes an 85-yard touchdown at Tampa Bay in 2002.1
Bennett signed a two-year contract with the New Orleans Saints on March 20, 2006. On August 2, 2006, he was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. Bennett was traded by Kansas City to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 16, 2007.1
