Metal Gear Solid 4 Hidden Dolls

- The five hidden dolls are obtained through use of non-lethal attacks in the defeat of specific bosses, the final four of whom are referred to as "The Beauty and the Beasts." Following is a list of the hidden dolls in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots with links to their individual pages.

Metal Gear Solid 4 Frog Soldier Doll
- Obtainable during Act 1 in the Middle East Advent Palace. Defeat the Haven Troopers without killing a single soldier and locate the doll in the Advent Palace garage area.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Laughing Octopus Doll
- Defeat Laughing Octopus during Act 2 using all non-lethal attacks. You will then find the doll on the bed in a room on the top right of the map area. The doll must be retrieved before the scene switches to the "white room" scenario where you fight Laughing Beauty.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Raging Raven Doll
- Defeat Raging Raven in Act 3 boss fight using non-lethal attacks, i.e., the Mosin-Nagant. During the first section of the encounter, the Raging Raven Doll is located on the top floor.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Crying Wolf Doll
- Defeat Crying Wolf in the Snowfield in Act 4 using non-lethal attacks to receive the Crying Wolf Doll. The doll will located immediately behind where you started the encounter in the Snowfield.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Screaming Mantis Doll
- Defeat Screaming Mantis during the Act 5 boss fight and locate the Screaming Mantis Doll outside the door to the north. It must be retrieved after defeating Screaming Mantis and before fighting Screaming Beauty.

Metal Gear Solid 4 Additional Dolls

Metal Gear Solid 4 Mantis Doll
- The Mantis Doll is a special item acquired in the first playthrough of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots by defeating Screaming Mantis in Act 5. It allows Snake to take psychological control of live enemy soldiers, shaking them to death in the air. Acquired towards the end of the game, it is available from the beginning during its second playthrough.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Sorrow Doll
- The Sorrow Doll, similar to the Psycho Mantis Doll, allows Snake to psycho-manipulate dead bodies (as opposed to living bodies), shaking them violently in the air to reveal extra items. The Sorrow Doll can be obtained at the same time as Psycho Mantis Doll in Act 5 before fully defeating Psycho Mantis, using all non-lethal attacks.
