Guide Note

Big Boss Hard is the hardest difficulty rating that you can play the game on when you first play through MGS4. After you have played through the game, regardless of difficulty, you then open up Big Boss Extreme mode. If you are able to finish the game in less than 5 hours and 30 minutes, set off no more than 3 alerts, kill no enemies, do not continue, do not use life recovery items and do not use stealth items, you unlock the Fox Hound emblem and unlock the Thor 45-70 weapon.
