Metal Gear Online is a twist on the Metal Gear series. One of the main features is the multiplayer gameplay, which allows for 16 on 16 battles. The player can upgrade all of their skills such as tomfoolery and enhanced lock-on and also hack into another character's account and find their location and other useful information to make it easier to win. There will be a free trial of this game included with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. This game is the first time that the Metal Gear series has sold as online-only. Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops both featured optional online play, but the main feature was never to play online.
