Men of Honor
Based on a true story, Men of Honor details the experiences of Carl Brashear, the first African-American to become a Master Diver in the U.S. Navy. Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as Brashear and Robert De Niro stars as Chief Billy Sunday, the man who initially resists Brashear's success, but later becomes his mentor.

Plot Summary
In 1952, Carl Brashear leaves his humble Kentucky home to join the U.S. Navy and fulfill his dream of becoming a certified Master Diver. During training, Brashear must not only meet the intense physical challenges necessary to become a Navy diver, but must also overcome the racism, prejudice and military bureaucracy which threaten to hold him back.
