She also appeared in the hit indie films Raising Victor Vargas, Lords of Dogtown and A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. In 2008 she appeared in an unprecedented 4 films that all premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Those films were Assassination of a High School President, Hamlet 2, Be Kind Rewind, and American Son.
