McCain Latino Vote
Early October polls showed that John McCain was losing popularity with American Hispanics, who, according to sources, feel reluctant to vote for the Republican Party in the 2008 Presidential Election.1 2
Many Latino voters support Barack Obama despite McCain's efforts in favor of 2007 immigration reform. Some supporters see the economy as first priority, and blame Republicans and their presidential candidate for the 2008 recession and crises. Others oppose the Republican immigration agenda.3
The distribution of Latino voters across the country may prove to be a strategical advantage for the Democratic Party's nominee.1
