McCain Green Screen Challenge
During the 2008 Republican Convention, John McCain spoke in front of a large video screen backdrop, which at one point showed a picture of Walter Reed Middle School instead of Walter Reed Hospital. The school's grassy front lawn provided a green screen-type backdrop to the speech.1 As a result of this apparent mistake, Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report has re-issued a "Green Screen Challenge" to his fans to provide a humorous backdrop for the speech.
