Mauricia Grant
Mauricia Grant, a former NASCAR racing official, filed a $225 million lawsuit against the racing organization on June 10, 2008.
The suit claims that Grant was the victim of racial and sexual discrimination and sexual harassment. Grant also alleges that she was wrongfully terminated from her position.1

Grant's Work Environment
Grant, who is black, alleges in her lawsuit that she was repeatedly subjected to racially insensitive comments and that she filed complaints about the behavior several times.1
Grant claims that, on various occasions, her co-workers called her "Nappy Headed Mo" and "Queen of Sheba." She also alleges that she was made to work outside on hot days by her supervisor because he believed her skin wouldn't sunburn.2
