Millen's Career in Detroit
Millen was hired as Team President of the Lions franchise in 2001. He had no prior experience as a Team CEO and had quit television broadcasting to take on the position. His tenure was marked by turmoil. The team had undergone several Head Coaching changes during his time with the team, and had not been able to reach the playoffs under his leadership.
