Matt Hamill

Matt "The Hammer" Hamill is a wrestler and mixed martial artist. Deaf since birth, Hamill grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a three-time NCAA Division III National Champion in wrestling and also won sliver in Greco-Roman wrestling and gold in freestyle wrestling at the 2001 Summer Deaflympics. Hamill was also a contestant on season three of The Ultimate Fighter reality show. Although he was unable to continue into the semi-finals due to injury, Hamill continued to work his way up the ranks and is now a full-time fighter in the UFC.
