Massachusetts Exit Polls
Barack Obama was declared the projected winner of the state of Massachusetts minutes after polls closed at 8 p.m., which was confirmed after precinct reports came in.1 Fellow Democrat John Kerry has also been declared the winner in his campaign for re-election to the Senate. The state of Massachusetts has 12 electoral votes.2
