Martin Garbus
Martin Garbus is a trial lawyer who specializes in media rights and First Amendment law. He has represented numerous clients including Don Imus, Lenny Bruce, Spike Lee and Nelson Mandela.1 In 2007, Garbus represented Samantha Ronson, girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan, in a defamation lawsuit against blogger Perez Hilton. The lawsuit was thrown out. Ronson is suing Garbus and has allegedly refused to pay the full legal fees to Garbus.2
