Early Life
Marley Eve Shelton was born in Los Angeles, California on April 12, 1974. Whe would attend Eagle Rock High School. She was reportedly a varsity Cheerleader and was the Prom Queen at the high school. She is the daughter of director Christopher Shelton.
Acting Career
Shelton would make her film and television debut in the Lawrence Kasdan film Grand Canyon starring Kevin Kline. She would garner national attention for her work in the films The Sandlot' and Pleasantville starring Tobey Maguire. Her breakthrough role would come in the cheerleader comedy Sugar & Spice where she played the lead role of Diane Weston. She has since appeared in such hit films as Uptown Girls, Just A Kiss and Bubble Boy. She has also worked with director Robert Rodriguez twice in the hit films Sin City and Grindhouse where she would appear in both segments as the same character of Dr. Dakota Block.
