Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals

In the Saturday Night Live sketch "Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals," comedian Andy Samberg hosts a mock animal program as film star Mark Wahlberg. In the sketch, Samberg makes brief small talk with a dog, a donkey, a chicken and a goat.

Wahlberg didn't find the sketch funny, and complained to the New York Post and on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he threatened to punch Samberg in the nose.¹

Wahlberg then appeared on the October 18, 2008 episode of the show. He hunted Samberg down to confront him about the sketch. When the two met, Wahlberg explained that he was hurt by the impression and offended that people think he speaks like that. Samberg apologized. Wahlberg the proceeded to talk to several cast members and a donkey. Each time reminding the person/animal to "say hello to your mother" for him. he At the end of the clip, Samberg ran away from the actor.
