Mark Speight

Mark Speight, who played The King on the BBC children's program See It Saw It, was a suspect in the death of his fiancee, Natasha Collins, who played See on the show. On January 3, 2008, Collins was found dead in a tub of scalding water in their London home. She was 31.

Speight went missing on April 7, 2008, and his body was discovered a few days later in London's Paddington Station on April 13 after he hung himself.

Arrest and Release Speight was arrested on suspicion of murder and charged with supplying Collins with cocaine. He was later released, and after Collins' death was ruled a "misadventure," he was not charged for her death.

Collins' Cause of Death Toxicology tests released April 2, 2008, showed more than five times the lethal dose of the drug in Collins' system, and the combination of that and the hot water burns over 60% of her body contributed to her death.

Disappearance Speight was last seen purchasing a ticket for the Tube train at Queen's Park on April 7, and was missing for several days. Family and friends expressed concern that his grief may have made him suicidal. Speight was reportedly planning a benefit memorial concert for Collins prior to his disappearance.

Death On April 13, 2008, police reported that Speight's body was found in London's Paddington Station where he hung himself. They have also confirmed that Speight's death was not the result of him being hit by a train. News reports later indicated that Speight had left two suicide notes: one on his person, and one at his residence, where he and Collins lived.
