Mario Kart Wii Star Icon

In the game Mario Kart Wii, star icons appear at times during online gameplay. In order to achieve the star icons, players must excel in normal gameplay. The stars appear only in online play, during an online race. If a player has a golden wheel and a star rating, both icons will appear next to the player's kart. Star icon info:

In order to earn a star icon, a player must achieve at least a one-star rating on every speed in the game, including Mirror Mode. Higher-star icons are achieved as higher ratings are obtained:

• One star: Earn a one-star rating on every speed, including mirror mode
• Two star: Earn a two-star rating on every speed, including mirror mode
• Three star: Earn a three-star rating on every speed, including mirror mode
