Maria Kanellis

Guide Note: Maria Kanellis (aka Maria) is a women's professional wrestler signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She currently appears on the Raw Brand.

Maria was a contestant in the 2004 WWE Raw Diva Search. Even though she was eliminated, she still received a WWE contract. Maria started as a backstage interviewer for Raw, appearing to lack knowledge about WWE and wrestling. She took on the persona of a ditzy air-head, which carried over with her as she began to get more involved in actual wrestling. In 2007, Maria began an on-air romance with wrestler Santino Marella.

In 2008, Maria posed for the April issue Playboy Magazine, following the lead of WWE Divas that had previously posed for the publication. Fast Facts:
