Manu Ginobili
Manu Ginobili is a shooting guard for the San Antonio Spurs. He is also a member of the Argentinian National Basketball Team. Ginobili was sidelined during the beginning of the 2008-2009 season after undergoing ankle surgery. He is expected to return to the Spurs in late November of 2008.1

Early Life
Emanuel David Ginobili was born in Bahia Blanca, Argentina, on July 28, 1977. He played professional basketball with the Argentine Basketball League and Italian League.
NBA Pro Career
Ginobili was selected with the 57th overall pick of the NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs. In his first season with the Spurs he established himself as a reliable role player and was selected to the Second Team of the NBA All-Rookie Squad. He would go on to help the San Antonio Spurs win the NBA Championship in 2003, 2005, and 2007. He would also be elected to the NBA All-Star team in 2004, and win the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award for the 2007-2008 season.
