Malaysian Airport Heist

Kuala International Airport in Malaysia was robbed of nearly one million dollars in cash on April 9, 2008 in a shoot out that lasted only three minutes. Bernama news agency reported that a group of four to six armed robbers opened fire on two cashiers and two security guards who were carrying bags of cash. Two bystanders were also wounded. The robbers escaped in a vehicle believed to be a four wheel drive.
