Maintaining the Sunwell Portal WoW

Guide Note: Maintaining the Sunwell Portal is part of the Shattered Sun Offensive storyline provided in World of Warcraft's 2.4 patch released on March 25, 2008. Once the Sunwell portal is activated, this quest replaces that of Intercepting the Mana Cells. Energy to the portal must be maintained or it will collapse. Continue to travel to Bashir’s Landing on the northern plateau of Blade's Edge Mountains and kill the ethereals until the Bash'ir Phasing Device is located. The device will render you invisible to the NPCs at the landing. While invisible, clear the Phase Wyrms and collect 10 Smuggled Mana Cells. Return them to Exarch Nasuun on the Terrace of Light in Shattrath City.
