As Mahalo continued to grow through the month of May, many other sites, searches, and services popped up that looked to capitalize on the human element in some way. Some of these sites included Site605 (a combination algorithm-human search engine), Similarr (a mashup search engine), and Yahoo! "Glue Pages," (which were exclusive to India).⁴
