Machete
Machete was initially an unproduced script written by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez after he met actor Danny Trejo. The script provided the basis for a fake movie trailer included in the Quentin Tarantino/Rodriguez co-production Grindhouse in 2007.
At Comic-Con 2008, Rodriguez confirmed his intentions to turn Machete into a feature-length film, starring Trejo, and also to potentially produce two direct-to-video sequels, Machete Kills and Machete Kills Again.

Grindhouse 2
Some rumors suggest Machete may be part of Grindhouse 2, along with The Babysitter Twins.1 Rodriguez, Tarantino and other filmmakers involved in the project (including Eli Roth and Edgar Wright, who directed other fake trailers) have indicated they would like to return for a Grindhouse sequel 2, though the first film's relatively poor performance at the box office may have killed the project's chances.3
