MV Princess Of Stars
MV Princess of the Stars was a commercial passenger ship that capsized in the Philippines during Typhoon Fengshen on June 21, 2008.
Initially, it was hoped that passengers survived in an air bubble inside the ship.1 Once rescuers investigated, however, they found no signs of life.2
The ferry's owner, Sulpico Lines, will likely face sanctions as a result of the tragedy.3
