Lucy Lawless is a New Zealand actress and singer. She was born on March 29, 1968 in Mount Albert, New Zealand. She has six siblings. She attended the William Davis Center for Actors Study where she studied drama. In 1988, the actress married Garth Lawless. They had a daughter together named Daisy. The couple divorced in 1995. She remarried on March 28, 1998 to producer Robert Tapert. They have two sons together named Julius Robert Bay and Judah Miro Tapert. In 2008, Lawless sign on for an extended guest role on The L Word¹

Acting Career

In 1990, Lawless appeared in the television series Shark in the Park. In 1994, she appeared in Hercules and the Amazon Women. The following year, she was in As Darkness Falls. From there, she appeared in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, The X Files, Spider-Man, Tarzan and EuroTrip. Her more recent works include Boogeyman, The Darkroom and Battlestar Galactica. Her future works include Bedtime Stories and Bitch Slap.
