Louisville Free Public Library

The Louisville Free Public Library is a library based in Kentucky. It is currently the largest library in the state.

Fast Facts:

1. Officially opened: 1908
2. Additional branches were eventually added
3. 1950: First library to have it's own FM radio station, WFPL
4. Currently there are 16 branches
5. Once had 30 branches, but many were forced to close because of funding issues
