Lobelia Herb
Lobelia Herb, also known as Indian Tobacco, is used to treat respiratory disorders including asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia. It can also be used topically to treat irritation caused by poison ivy, insect bites, sprains and ringworm.
Lobelia works by relaxing the air passages of the lungs thus making it easier to breathe. Of Lobelia's 26 species, Lobelia inflataa is the one most commonly used.
