Second Life Killer?

A number of sources¹ have immediately argued that Lively may rapidly overtake Second Life in popularity, and possibly lead to the company's demise. Where Second Life requires users to go to a specific website to interact, Lively is intended to be on a number of websites, including Facebook and MySpace. Lively is also free, where SecondLife offers access to the standard services for free but charges $9.99 a month for advanced features.
