Live From Daryls House
Live From Daryl's House is a web-only series created by musician Daryl Hall, one half of musical duo
Hall and Oates. Each episode features Hall playing with a combination of young musicians and longtime collaborators in the intimacy of his upstate New York, Maine, London or Bahamian home.
Past episodes have featured Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy and British singer/songwriter KT Tunstall.
Hall has been quoted as saying that the endeavor makes him feel like, "a new kind of media pioneer, as if we were at the dawn of television...the rules are completely different. It's freer and more flexible. I love the immediacy of putting out a new song, straight from my brain or the studio directly to the public."
