The Murder of Tiffany Eunick
At 12-years-old, Tate was the youngest person in the United States to be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. He was convicted of first-degree murder for the 1999 murder of Tiffany Eunick. After serving three years in jail, the case was overturned in 2004, and Tate plead guilty to the second-degree murder of Eunick. Tate was sentenced to three years in jail, one year of house arrest and 10 years probation. At the time, he had already served the three years in prison of his sentence.2
Parole Violation
In May 2005, Tate plead no contest to the robbery charge for holding up a pizza delivery man. Since the holdup was a violation of his probation, he is now serving 30 years in prison. Tate will tentatively be released from jail in May 2031.1
