Lindsay Lohan publicly confirmed the rumors that she is gay and is dating DJ Samantha Ronson. Lohan added that she and Ronson were romantically involved "for a very long time." Lohan's father and the Los Angeles chief of police were present at the announcement.¹

The confirmation follows rumors about a Lohan and Ronson marriage announcement made at a party in early September, 2008. Ronson said that "by the end of this year, my love will be Mrs. Ronson."²
