Lillian France
Lillian France is an elderly Brooklyn woman who was choked and mugged on August 14, 2008, inside the elevator of an apartment building. The attack, which was captured on surveillance video, shows the assailant grab her from behind, choke her and then flee with her handbag and cane.1 On August 21, 2008, New York City police announced that they had a suspect, Cornelius Abson, in custody.2
