The Plot
Detective Sam Tyler is hit by a car and wakes up in the year 1972 after his detective girlfriend Maya disappears. He is still a member of the police department and wonders if he can somehow make it back to the year 2008. Detective Tyler realizes that being a cop in 1972 is much different and more complicated without the modern technology he is used to. He also finds out that there may be a connection between his case in 1972 and events in 2008.
