Leo Laporte is a technology journalist, podcaster, and television technology personality. He is known for his podcast called TWiT, which stands for This Week in Tech. He is also remembered for his tenture on Tech TV the former name of the cable television network G4. There he hosted several technology-related shows including Call for Help and The Screen Savers.

Leo Laporte Biography
Leo Laporte was born in Providence, Rhode Island on November 29, 1956. After graduating from Yale University with a degree in Chinese History, Laporte started one of the first Macintosh-only bulletin baord systems, called MacQueue. Laporte went on to host various television and radio programs relating to technology. He currently hosts a nationally syndicated live radio program called The Tech Guy, which airs on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00 AM PST.
