Plot Summary
After losing his job and family, alcoholic Ben Sanderson (Nicholas Cage) goes to Las Vegas with the plan of literally drinking himself to death. He meets a prostitute named Sera (Elizabeth Shue), whose boyfriend/pimp has recently been murdered. Both desperate and lonely, the two find some degree of solace in each other's companionship.
