LeRoi Moore
Musician LeRoi Moore was the saxophonist for, and an original member of, the Dave Matthews Band. On August 19, 2008, reports surfaced that Moore had died. In June of 2008, Moore suffered serious injuries in an all-terrain vehicle accident at his farm in Virginia, including a punctured lung. Moore was admitted to the hospital again in July 2008 for complications from the accident. A statement on the Dave Matthews Band's official website said Moore "died unexpectedly" at a Los Angeles, California, hospital.1 2 3

"LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia. Moore had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin an intensive physical rehabilitation program."3
