Laure Manaudou Naked

French swimmer Laure Manaudou won three gold medals at the 2004 Summer Olympics.¹ In December of 2007, nude photos of Manaudou surfaced online.²

Manaudou will compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Although she did not qualify for the 200 meter freestyle, Manaudou did earn spots in the 400 meter freestyle, 100 meter and 200 meter backstroke and the 400 meter relay.

Revenge?

Manaudou accused her ex-boyfriend, Italian swimmer Luca Marin, of leaking the photos to the press. He and Manaudou had a heated breakup, in which she threw the ring he gave her into the pool just days before the photos went public. Marin has denied any involvement. The photos were initially printed in Italian newspapers.²
