Changing Hands

In December 2006, Laterooms.com was purchased by the travel agency First Choice for a possible total of £120 million. First Choice initially paid £108 million and stipulated a possible £12 million in further payments dependent upon the site's continued success.³ In June 2007, First Choice merged with TUI Travel in a deal which cost a reported £1.8 billion.⁴
