Career
Known for the catch phrases of "Git 'er done" and "Lord, I apologize", Larry the Cable Guy received his career start in 1986 as a small town stand up comedian.1 Soon fans were addicted to his southern drawl and down to earth comedy style as his popularity increased with appearances on Evening at the Improv and Comic Strip Live.1 He soon became a fan favorite on the Bob and Tom Show with Jeff Foxworthy signing him on to his popular Blue Collar Comedy franchise in 2000 and Larry the Cable Guy gained national attention.1 He released his first individual comedy CD, Lord, I Apologize in 2001, which topped the comedy charts.1
